Band bio

“The most interesting duo we have seen live in recent memory. Exceptional presence; soulful, energetic, they work it with burning talent.” – Folk Phenomena

Logan & Manley are here to put the truth back into music with lyrics that have a message for us all. Their trademark sound is an irresistible blend of bouncy reggae, sensitive soul and high energy grooves that sets your dancing feet free.

Watch the pair bring the party by crafting a mesmerising symphony of sound, looping layers of melodic keys, driving drums, sublime guitars and vocals that shake the core. It’s not just live music, it’s an experience of celebration. Expect to feel the love from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.

Supporting the likes of Lee Scratch Perry, selling out the Trades Club in their hometown of Hebden Bridge and picking up slots at major festivals, including opening the main stage at Beatherder Festival 2019, Logan & Manley are taking their reggae and soul tinged tunes to an ever-increasing audience.

"I was quite literally stunned by their performance, wonderful voice coupled with brilliant beautiful songs and when in full flow a mesmerising quality, Logan & Manley are definitely one to keep an eye on, absolutely amazing" Kermit, Black Grape

In 2017 Terry’s thoughtfully crafted song writing caught the ear of acclaimed producer John Garden (Scissor Sisters/Alison Moyet). The pair recorded their first EP ‘Believe it a Little’ which John deemed “an extraordinary new talent” and “a real honour to work on.’ In March 2019 they released their new EP ‘Orpheus Vibrations’ which has received a wondrous reception. Bobby Colcombe, Fresh On The Net said “Love, personality and depth has been poured into this EP. It’s exciting to see where this duo can take us next on their journey."

They already have an impressive gig history headlining their own EP tour, supporting the likes of Dreadzone, Zion Train, Natty and the Rebelship, Kioko, My Baby and Haggis Horns. Their summers have been spent touring the festival circuit including Bearded Theory, Bylines Festival, Mooving Festival, Preston Jazz Festival, Festival 23, Green Gathering, Solfest, Eden Festival, Super Weird Happenings and Hebden Folk Roots Festival where they played live on BBC Radio Leeds. The unique fusion of genres makes the band appeal to all music lovers. “Its music magic that can somehow rock the reggae tent at festivals and captivate audiences at jazz concerts.”

Terry Logan and Chris Manley’s artistic journeys have proved to be the perfect apprenticeship for the meeting of musical minds.
